Lesley Nightingale Psychotherapy
A space to come back to yourself.
Feeling chaotic, with thoughts swirling in your head, with nowhere to place them? Feeling like you always had to hold it together for everyone else - the steady one, the strong one - but inside you’re tired and unsure where to turn? Maybe you feel like every decision is the wrong one, or that you’re falling short of someone else’s expectations. Perhaps you’re grieving - not only the loss of a loved one, but lost opportunities, lost potential, or the life you imagined.
You are not alone in this.
Individual Therapy for Adults 18+
Individual therapy is a dedicated one-on-one space where your experiences and goals take priority. Here, you can safely explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns while experimenting with new ways to respond to life’s challenges. The process is collaborative and tailored to you, allowing you to move at your own pace in a compassionate, secure environment. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you—helping you feel supported, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change.

I work with clients across many areas, including:
My Approach
It is my mission to truly see you, hear you, and walk alongside you as you begin to understand yourself more deeply.
My work is rooted in an integrated, trauma‑informed approach, combining EMDR, EFIT, somatic awareness, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and parts work to support your unique journey. Together, we’ll explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. This might include reflecting on your patterns and story, noticing what your body holds, or gently connecting with emotions that have felt out of reach. This approach keeps therapy responsive, collaborative, and deeply attuned to your needs. We’ll create space to find safety within and reconnect with the parts of you that have worked so hard to protect you—and to help them rest. You don’t need the right words or to know where to start. If vulnerability feels unfamiliar or tears feel far away, that’s okay. There is no pressure here.
We are human. We’ll move at your pace.
I’ll help you interrupt old cycles, reconnect mind and body, and begin to feel whole again.
Getting Started
Beginning therapy is a brave and meaningful step and I’m here to make the process as simple and supportive as possible.
What getting started looks like:
1. Book a consultation
I offer a FREE 20-minute phone or video consultation so we can get to know each other. This is a chance for you to share what you're looking for, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work. We’ll also talk about scheduling and fees.
2. First session
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session. In this initial meeting, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your goals, and begin to build a foundation for our work together. There's no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll move at your pace!
3. Ongoing support
Once you’ve booked your first appointment, I’ll be here to guide you through each step so you feel supported and prepared as we continue the therapy process. From our first session onward, you’ll have a steady, ongoing space for reflection, growth and care.
Being open can feel vulnerable — but it’s also where healing begins.
If you’re ready, I’m here to help you take that first step.
